Rough time

Lost my job about two weeks ago. Things have been stressful. Have a couple good prospects at other jobs though.  Trying to keep my head up.

Oh, and also after that five days in a row was when I was let go. Kinda crummy.

Elaboration and updating to no one.

Finished my run through of Boy Meets World tonight. It really is a masterpiece. My all time favorite show. I cried at the end. Or rather through the last three episodes. A happy cry. About as close to perfect as a show can be.

Also, looked into refinancing to get the mortgage more reasonable. Looks like we will very likely be able to, and use home equity to pay off all off our credit debt so that we have more useable income for savings and the like.

Almost to 40,000 words in my novel. Haven't written in about a week though, need to get back to it.

And that's it for tonight. Tomorrow is the last day of five in a row at work. If that doesn't sound impressive, you should know I work ten and a half hour work days. Actually, the store is open that long, I have to be in ten minutes earlier and out five later. So 10h45m days. That is about 54 hours this week.
Okay. I mean it now. Done typing,  going to sleep. Goodnight internet land.

17

My third brother (4th of my parents 5 sons,  with me 1st) turns 17 today. Which means I turned 17 just over eight and a half years ago.  I feel old...

Screaming in my head.

So. Yeah. Installed the Blogspot app on my phone so I can post. Should help me to post more.

Anyway. Life got hard. Painfully so. Mortgage went up about $400. Thats pretty much a 33% upshoot. Its daunting to say the least. My wife and I got George Bailey'd a bit though. My parents, grandparents and my cousin and her new husband will help with a few months. A good pair of friends brought us dinner and around a weeks worth of food. Another friend got me an in for a new job. Its great to feel loved.

The big thing though... the big thing is that we can't just keep relying on family and friends for this sort if thing. But we keep getting side checked. Three years in a row we owed on our taxes no matter what we did. And now, the first year it looks like we won't... BAM! Mortgage straight outta left field. It's such a stressful world.

The worst part is that I want to be a father. But unless this sorta crap stops happening or at least gets easier... well then that is just not happening.
